Puneri Paltan eliminate UP Yoddha from Pro Kabaddi League

Puneri Paltan held their nerve to dump UP Yoddha out of Pro Kabaddi League Season 5.
Puneri Paltan are through to eliminator 3 with a 40-38 win. Girish  Ernak was rock solid at the back and scored seven tackle points while  Deepak Niwas Hooda scored 10 raid points to lead their team to victory.
UP Yoddha squandered a solid start and despite Rishank Devadiga’s  15 point effort their campaign came to an end. UP Yoddha were let down  by their defence as they could score just eight tackle points whereas  Pune defence scored 17 tackle points.

Captain  Pardeep Narwal leads from the front as Patna Pirates outclass Haryana  Steelers 69-30 in the Eliminator 2 of Pro Kabaddi League 2017 in Mumbai.
Captain Pardeep Narwal of Patna  Pirates created history as he becomes the raider with the most number of  raid points in a single match. Pardeep picked up record 34 raid points  for Patna, he overtook Rohit Kumar of Bengaluru Bulls who held the  record with 30 raid points. Patna Pirates will take on Puneri Paltan in  the Eliminator 3 on Tuesday, whereas, Haryana Steelers campaign of PKL  season 5 have come to an end. Pardeep was adjudged the ‘Perfect Raider  of the Match’ for his superhuman effort in the match.
