Two more have tested positive for coronavirus in Telangana, taking the state’s count to 21. With the new cases reported in Telangana, India’s count has climbed to 294. In Telangana, a 35-year-old man in Hyderabad has tested positive for Covid-19. His condition is said to be stable. Another case is that of a 33-year-old man who had returned from Dubai.

Confirmed cases of the novel coronavirus have doubled since the past week in India. In countries like China, South Korea, and Japan, experts are now witnessing a flat curve in the number of confirmed cases. However, the same number is doubling in Italy, Spain and Iran every 2nd-3rd day.

Lalu not allowed to meet anyone

Jailed Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader and former Bihar Chief Minister Lalu Prasad Yadav is not being allowed to meet any as a precautionary measure against the novel coronavirus.

The Indian Railways has also decided to relax refund rules for counter-generated tickets in an effort to promote social distancing. Responding to claims that trains will also not run on Sunday as part of the PM’s Janta curfew, the Railways said that no such services will be delayed or halted on March 22.
