Arunachal Pradesh opens for tourists

Arunachal Pradesh government announced the re-opening of the state to tourists under a new health safety protocol, which includes carrying a Covid-19 negative certificate not more than 72 hours old, having pre-booked tours done by local operators only and stay outside town areas. But persons above 60, pregnant women and children below 10 years will not be welcomed.

AP’s Prime minister on twitter saying, “Arunachal Pradesh opens today to welcome tourists. Get mesmerised by its beauty and rejuvenated by the purity of its nature. Those who dreamt-its time to explore…!” He also added that the new normal SOPs are requested to follow, The SoP allows only pre-booked package tours negative certificate (RTPCR or True NAT test) from ICMR designated laboratory or facility, issued not more than 72 hours prior to the date of arrival in the state.“Family groups can stay together if they ensure that they are at least two meters away from other individuals or family groups,” the SoP adds.Use of Aarogya Setu app is mandatory for tourists, tour guides and drivers, it says.
