CM, Dy CM pay floral tribute at Jayalalithaa memorial

Chennai, Dec 5:
On the second death anniversary of Late Tamil Nadu chief ministerJayalalithaa AIADMK leaders Deputy Chief Minister O Pannnerselvam and Chief Minister K Palaniswami led the party men in paying tributes to her.
Clad in black shirts, Panneerselvam and Palaniswami, AIADMK coordinator and joint coordinator, respectively, led a silent march from Anna Salai to Marina beach, where the former AIADMK supremo was laid to rest.
Senior cabinet ministers, MPs and MLAs besides scores of party supporters most of whom were clad in black joined Panneerselvam and Palaniswami.
Chief Minister Edapadi K.Palaniswami, Deputy Chief Minister O.Paneerselvam and all the ministers, MLAs , MPs and various wings of the AIADMK , paid their tributes to the late Chief Minister Jayalalithaa at her memorial in Marina, on the second-death anniversary today.
Thousands of men and women from various parts of the state who reached here on today, were waiting in serpentine queues with flowers and garlands and many with tears wellinn up from their eyes, to pay their tributes to the departed leader.
Chief Minister Edpadi K.Palaniswami, Deputy Chief Minister O.Paneerselvam and all other ministers and MLAs, MPs and various wings of the AIADMK Party who were attired in black-shirts, took out a silent procession on foot, from the Walajah Road, Triplicane, which wended through Chepauk and finally converged at the Jayalalithaa memorial in Marina.
Then the Chief Minister Palaniswami and the Deputy Chief Minister O.Paneerselvam offfered flowers at the tomb of the late Chief Minister followed by ministers, MLAs and MPs, party functionaries and large number of cadre.
Then the AIADMK Party’s Organiser O.Paneerselvam and the party’s Joint Organiser Edapadi K.Palaniswami and all the party members also took out a pledge and observed a two-minute silence at the memorial.
AIADMK men took pledge to follow the footsteps of Jayalalithaa and give her golden rule. The pledge was also to win all the upcoming Assembly bye elections and parliament elections.
The government has made proper arrangements at the memorial, by deploying enough police security for the visiting people at the Marina and its surroundings.

Puduchery AIADMK partymen paid floral tributes to the Jayalaithaa’s portrait at the party headquarters in Uppalam. They also took silent procession in Beach road.
AIADMK MLA Vaiyapuri Manikandan, Party office bearers paid homage to Jayalalithaa.
AIADMK former MLA Om Sakthi Sekar paid floral tributes to the portrait of Jayalalithaa placed at 100 ft road.
