Chief Minister Edapadi Palaniswami has today announced a solatium of Rs.108 lakhs from the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund to the families of 36 fireservicemen of the fire services department who died due to accidents and disabilities.
Those who died of natural causes: were: K.Vembu (driver-Virudhunagar), L. Srinivasan and T.Elangovan ( Musiri), P.Ravi (Sethupattu, Tiruvannamalai), G.A.Sundaresh (Oooty), K.Natrajan (Perambalur), K.Ganesan ( Tiruvadanai-Ramnad), V.Damodaran (Tiruvallikeni-Chennai), P.Gopi (Tarangampadi-Nagai), P.Thangapandian (Alanganallur-Madurai). C.Mohan (Poompuhar-Nagai), Rajamohan (Arupukotai), P.Ravichandran (Saidapet), A.Balagurunathan (Kollimalai, Namakkal), M.Selvam (South Chennai), A.Sudhakaran ( Kallikuid- Madurai), K.Santhanakumar ( Sivakasi), R.Mohandas (Chidambaram).
Those who died in accidents: M.Ragunathan (Tiruvotriyur-Chennai), R.Prabhakaran (Sathyamangalam), Munusamy ( Marakanam, Villupuram), K.Raghavan (Tiruthuraipoondi-Tiruvarur), A.Lingaraj (Vilathikulam-Tuticorin), T.Thiraviyamohan ( Vedasanthur-Dindigul), S.Bapu (Alangayan- Vellore), A.Mahalingam (RS Mangalam- Ramnad), R.Bapu (Vannayampathi- North Chennai), S.Raja (Ambattur), A.Gunendran (Srirangam), N.Sudhakar (Oothangakarai-Krishnagiri), T,Thambiraj (Vilathikulam- Thuthukudi), S.Srinivasan ( Kattumannarkoil- Cuddalore), S.Rajadurai (Perambalur), K.Ramesh (Thervaikandi-Tiruvallur).
While annuncing the slaitium the Chief Miniser has also conveyed his personal messages of condolence to the bereaved families.
