Dhruv Vikram, the son of actor Chiyaan Vikram is all set to make his debut in Tamil cinema with the much-anticipated film ‘Adithya Varma’. The film is a Tamil remake of the Telugu hit film ‘Arjun Reddy’ and he will be reprising the role of Vijay Devarkonda. Earlier, the film which was initially helmed by Bala ran into trouble due to creative differences with the producers.
Later it has been re-shot by Gireesaaya, an associate of director Sandeep Vanga who made the original movie. The film stars Banita Sandhu as the female lead and stars Priya Anand in a pivotal role.
Noe the latest update is that the Dhruv Vikram released a video on his social media handle to announce that the film has been wrapped up. He also stated that “Adithya Varma is the most special thing that’s ever happened to me. He gave me a purpose, gave my life meaning, gave me clarity about myself and most importantly, taught me how to never give up. So much love to all the people in this video, especially the man in the last frame. Couldn’t have done it without you. #itsawrap”.
Mukesh Mehta has produced the film under the banner E4 Entertainment and Radhan will be composing music for the film while Ravi K Chandran will handle the cinematography and Vivek Harshan heads the editing.
Earlier the stylish teaser of the film was released and received an overwhelming response from the audience. Further details about the release date of the film are expected soon.
