Income Tax officials issue summons to Vijay on sets of ‘Master’

Vijay has been working for his upcoming film ‘Master’ with director Lokesh Kanagaraj. The shooting of the film is underway at the Neyveli coal mine and reportedly the scenes of Vijay clashing with Vijay Sethupathi have been shot. Now reports are coming in that Income Tax officials met Vijay on the sets of ‘Master’ today at the coal mine and issued summons to the actor after a short investigation.

The shooting of ‘Master’ has been canceled after the raid by the Income Tax department officials who have also taken Vijay along with them for further investigation. Previously, the Income Tax officials had raided the AGS Entertainment office, which produced Vijay’s last film ‘Bigil’. The sports drama, which was directed by Atlee, reportedly earned more than Rs 300 crore at the worldwide box office. The producer of the film Archana Kalapathi had also confirmed that it was the highest-grossing film in her latest post on Twitter on the occasion of ‘Bigil’s’ 100th day.

It has also been speculated on social media that Vijay will be receiving a high remuneration for his next film, and the film is reported to be produced by Kalanithi Maran’s Sun Pictures. But now fans of actor Vijay have been shocked by the news, and hope that Vijay clears the issue soon.
