Salem, Jan 16:
Today the Tamil Nadu State is seen with vast development because of the late two Chief Ministers M.G.Ramachandran and Jayalalithaa, addressed Chief Minister Edapadi K.Palaniswami while inaugurating a newly built manimandapam and also unveiling their two statues inside the memorial.
Chief Minister Edapadi K.Palaniswami on April 29th laid foundation stone for the construction of the Manimandapam with the installation of the two late Chief Ministers’ bronze statues at a total cost of Rs 80 lakhs.
The Chief Minister at the inaugural function also christened then Salem-Omalur Main Road as MGR Road.
The Chief Minister said that the AIADMK Government was prepared to face any hurdles or obstacles that come in its way and would rule the country continuously for the benefit of the people of Tamil Nadu.
At a series of functions to be held in this evening, the Chief Minister will lay foundations for the construction of over bridges in Ariyanur and Makudanchavadi and will also inaugurate the completed work of the government projects carried out at a total cost of Rs 138 crore.
The Chief Minister in the to-be-held function will also distribute government aids to the beneficiaries.
