The Nippon Paint, one of the number one paint manufacturers in Asia, has for the first time today introduced KIDZ Paint – a child wellness paint, developed for the generation Z kids.
According to S.Mahesh Anand, President – Decorative Paint, Nippon Paint that the paint developed with a firm resolve to champion indoor safety and child wellness, was designed to meet the unique demands of one’s entire childhood after unveiling the paint at a function held in a star hotel.
Before the introduction of the new painting, the Nippon’s R&D team had arrived three key findings and corresponding solutions to counter them.
Keeping in view of the three times respiratory rate of adults, and also keeping important for the safety of the developing lungs, the Nippon took the anti-formaldehydetechnology for clean air which enables air-purification by absorbing harmful formaldehyde present in the air.
The Nippon also took into account the babies and toddlers spend majority of time indoors making them most prone to bacteria, viruses, mould and fungi., hence, they took into account the anti-viral and anti-bacterial for safe touch which combated by the silver-ion technology which assured 99 % go germ infection free environment and infection-free for child’s growth.
The Nippon also took into account after they had met some parents of children who told the R&D that most of the children use walls to learn how to draw and for other cognitive skills. For this, the Nippon had taken into account the proprietary anti-stain technology.
Mahesh Anand said that with the launch of the KIDZ range, the Nippon had become pioneers in introducing the new product.
A panel of discussion was held with the participation of child psychiatarist Dr Jayanthi, TV and film actress Devadarshini, Child Welfare Activist Kanya Babu, and actress Vijayalakshmi. The participants and the general public who participated in the launching function were clearly briefed about the new product which was moderated by the Paediatrician Dr Dhanasekar.
The product is to be launched in Tamil Nadu from November 26th, said the President.
