Amidst the COVID-19 crisis, many daily wage workers of the film industry have been struggling to meet their need owing to unemployment. Keeping in mind the dire situation and difficulties faced by these labourers, several celebrities have been coming together to provide relief in the form of monetary aid and food supply. From the Tamil film industry, Raghava Lawrence pledged his support to relief efforts and now, the latest buzz states that he has reached out to Kamal Haasan, Ajith, Vijay, and Suriya to help support the cause.
Taking to his Twitter handle, he shared all that he had done so far and opened up about his plans going forward. Raghava mentioned the various relief funds he donated money to and also shared about how he is doing his duty by helping the needy. He liked the idea that his brother Elvin shared about how one man can’t help everyone, and hence asked help from his friends. He then suggested the idea to his guru Superstar Rajinikanth and got 100 rice bags from him. Now, he has sent out a request to Kamal Haasan, Ajith, Vijay, Surya, and many other actors, politicians, and anyone else who wants to help to provide essential food items.
On the work front, Raghava Lawrence is set to make his Bollywood directorial debut with the Akshay Kumar starrer ‘Laxmmi Bomb’. Also, he has announced his next film as a lead role ‘Chandramukhi 2’ with director P Vasu.
