Kangana Ranaut shares a great bond with sister Rangoli Chandel. The actress had recently opened up in an interview about how she took up substandard works to be able to afford best care for Rangoli who was an acid attack survivour at the time. Thanking her sister for all that she had done for her, Rangoli Chandel shared a heartfelt post for Kangana. She wrote, ‘I can never pay back what you did for me, at that tender age you were just 19 years old the horror of that accident even our parents couldn’t take they used to see my face and just faint they left but you stood by my side washed my wounds, worked day and night to pay for my treatment, and then after years struggle when things got better you buried your face in my lap and cried …. I am glad you did cause strongest people most often forget to share their pain… thank you Chotu.’
In an Interview with Mumbai Mirror, Kangana had said that she did tacky films when she was 19 just to help Rangoli. She reminisced the days when girls around her would feel depressed by just a mere bad hair day or because a meal was not to their liking while she was grappling with something far more real and yet had no time to sit and cry.
She added that she did tacky films and the ones she did not deserve just so her sister Rangoli could be treated by the best surgeon in India. It took 54 surgeries.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Kangana will next be seen in Ashwini Iyer Tiwari’s ‘Panga’. It also features Neena Gupta, Richa Chadha and Jassie Gill in pivotal roles. The movie revolves around a Kabaddi player, played by Kangana, who wants to make a comeback in the game after marriage and motherhood.
‘Panga’ will lock horns with Remo D’Souza’s ‘Street Dancer 3D’ starring Varun Dhawan, Shraddha Kapoor and Nora Fatehi at the box-office.
