While people worldwide are looking for ways to avoid the rapidly spreading corona outbreak, scientists in London are looking for a few good men and women who are willing to get infected along with a pay of $4,500 which amounts to RS. 3,33,000.
As part of a global effort to find a vaccine for the Covid-19 coronavirus, pharmaceutical companies are offering thousands of dollars to people willing to voluntarily get infected with the virus and spend two weeks in isolation. Being the first to come up with an effective vaccine for Covid-19 would undoubtedly prove very profitable for any pharmaceutical company, and many are spending big money to increase their chances of success.
This offer is designed to tempt young, healthy and cash-strapped individuals. They will be banned from contact with the outside world for at least two weeks once injected with COVID-19.
The so called “human guinea pigs” in question will receive a battery of tests before being selected.
They’ll be given two of the virus’ weaker strains, which scientists say should cause mild respiratory symptoms. They will also be given new or existing vaccines.
The testing will begin once the medical research and development company gets the green light.
