Dindigul, Sept 2:
A mass recruitment campus interview for the students who have completed their Engineering courses and Diploma courses in the year 2016 to 2018,from the SSM College of Engineering & Technology was held recently. 45 leading private sector companies including the companies belonging to State government and Central Government had conducted interviews and written tests for the students to fill more than 3000 vacancies.
The Camp was organised by the Industrial Training Board of the College with the Union Ministry of Human Resources and the Department of Higher Education.
Board of Apprenticeship Training (BOAT) Deputy Director Suresh Kumar who presided over the campus interview said that out of more than 50,000 persons who underwent training in South India, the Tamil Nadu State had been ranking first with more than 32,000 persons underwent training. He also said that nearly 25 % of the persons who underwent training had been placed in jobs in companies from where they underwent training, said Suresh Kumar. The unemployed graduates could register their names with all details in the www.mhrdnats.gov.in and could derive benefit. He also made an appeal to those who attended the interview to make use of the benefits that the government had been providing them in getting suitable employment opportunities.
