To telecast the information about the school edcuation, Tamil nadu Government will introduce separate Educational Channnel from Pongal.
Aiming to utilise the state-run cable TV service provider for education purposes also, Tamil Nadu government on Wednesday proposed introducing a separate Education Channel/
The Channel would bring quality education to the students at their homes after school hours. It would help all the students get the best tutorials, seminars, lectures and other related programmes which otherwise would not have been accessible to them.
Education Minister K.A. Senkottaiyan announced the introduction of new education channel to give educational guidelines to the students.
To start the preliminary work, the government has appointed a committee consists of School education director Rameswara Murugan, Education department officials K. Arivoli, Sudhalai Kannan, and joint directors.
The buying of camera and hi tech instruments in under process.
According to education department official, The government is taking action to introduce new education channel. The shooting floor and studio and formed in Anna Library 8th floor. The government has allotted Rs. 1.35 cr for introducing new education channel.
Through this channel, will feature details of government schemes, applying for scholarships, entrance exams details, students inventions, education department circulars, discussion by educationalists.
