Actor Daniel Balaji passes away at 48


Chennai, Mar 30:
Tamil actor Daniel Balaji, aged 48, known for his memorable performances in iconic films such as
“Vettaiyaadu Vilayaadu” and “Vada Chennai,” tragically passed away on Friday night following a massive
cardiac arrest.
Balaji, celebrated for his versatile acting skills and magnetic on-screen presence, was rushed to a
hospital in Kottivakam, after experiencing chest pain. Despite efforts to save him, he succumbed to the
sudden health crisis.
Born into the realm of Tamil entertainment, Balaji initially gained recognition through his portrayal of
Daniel in the popular television series “Chitthi.” His remarkable talent and dedication soon propelled him
into the realm of cinema, where he left an indelible mark with his diverse roles and nuanced
performances.
As the Tamil film community grapples with the loss of one of its brightest stars, preparations are
underway for Balaji’s final rites. His mortal remains will be laid to rest at his residence in Purasaiwalkam
today.
