Anurag Kashyap is a renowned actor-director in the film industry. He is known as an actor in Tamil
cinema for films like ‘Imaikka Nodigal’ and ‘Leo’ but his directorial works are only in Bollywood. His two-
part gangster saga, ‘Gangs of Wasseypur’, are highly acclaimed nationwide.
Now, the latest hot news is that Anurag Kashyap is all set to make his directorial debut in Tamil. It will be
a Pan-Indian film and GV Prakash is set to play the lead role in this project. An official announcement of
this movie will be made soon. GV Prakash confirmed this project in a recent interview and it is going viral.
GV Prakash said, “It’s a big thing in my career that I’m going to act under Anurag Kashyap sir’s direction.
Previously I worked with him for the background score in his ‘Gangs of Wasseypur’ Hindi movie.” On the
work front, GVP has exciting projects in the pipeline such as ‘Idimuzhakkam’, ’13’, ‘Kalvan’, ‘Rebel’, ‘Dear’
and ‘Kingston’.
