Thanger Bachchan’s film ‘Azhagi’ was re-released in theaters on March 29 after 22 years. The movie
received overwhelming acceptance for its theatrical re-release.
A press meet was held in Chennai to announce the re release of ‘Azhagi’. Producer D.Udhayakumar,
lead stars Parthiepan Radhakrishnan, Devayani other cast were present at the press meet, and Nandita
Das in the lead characters.
The movie recently made a return to theatres across Chennai, receiving highly positive responses from
fans, with sold-out shows.
The movie Alaghi, which has captured the hearts of the viewers, was directed by Thangar Bachchan.
Parthiban, Nandita Das, Devayani, Vivek, Monika and others have acted. Ilayaraja has composed the
music for the film. Based on the story of a man meeting his girlfriend after marriage, the film was well
received by the fans.
The movie Alagi is needed for this generation as the tender feelings of love that civilize human minds are
dying. No matter how many years pass by, ‘Alagi’ is a movie that can be watched together with ex-
boyfriends, girlfriends and husbands, wives, children and friends.
The people celebrated this movie in 100 theaters for more than 100 days.
