‘Congress’s partnership with Pakistan exposed’ Modi

Anand, May 2:

Intensifying the attack against the Congress, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday said that the “partnership between Congress and Pakistan” has been “exposed” as leaders in Pakistan are “offering duas” for Rahul Gandhi to become India’s prime minister.

Modi, who was addressing an election rally in Anand in Gujarat, said Pakistan “has been crying” as the Congress, which “only handed terror dossiers” to Pakistan, continues to lose ground in India. All 26 seats of Gujarat will go to poll on May 7 in the third phase of Lok Sabha elections 2024.

A day after former Pakistan minister Fawad Chaudhary praised Rahul, Modi said the BJP had “exposed” the partnership between the country that “exported terrorism” and the Congress. Calling it a ‘quirk of fate’, he said, “The Congress is becoming weak in the country… We can’t find them even when we look through a microscope, but you see, the Congress is finishing here, and Pakistan is crying on the other hand… Pakistani leaders are offering duas to make Shehzada (Rahul Gandhi) the prime minister. You may have seen it yesterday… We all know Congress is Pakistan’s partner… Their partnership has been exposed….”

Stating that his government had “killed terrorists in their homes” instead of handing “dossiers” like the Congress, Modi said, “Until a few years ago, Pakistan was like a bugbear in the country… But today, Pakistan’s tyre of terrorism has been punctured. The country that was exporting terrorism is now going from door to door to import wheat… The one who had grenade bombs in their hand today has bheek ka katora (begging bowl).”

“When the Congress government was in power and terror acts happened, they (Congress) used to give dossiers to the aakas (commanders) of terrorism. They would tell them, ‘Your people came, this is their photo, and this is where they exploded the bombs and went… Your people came, they did this and they went’. Then they (Congress) would tell the countrymen that they have given a dossier to Pakistan. But the Modi government does not waste time giving any dossiers… we get into their homes and kill them.” he added.

Modi further sharpened his attack on Rahul, who flashed a copy of the Indian Constitution at his election rally a day earlier. Stating that Congress had not implemented the Constitution in the entire country, Modi said, “Sardar (Vallabhbhai Patel) saheb went away early and caused much damage to the country. It is my kasak (yearning) to fulfil the dreams of Sardar Patel. The Shehzada of the Congress is keeping the Constitution on his forehead and dancing but let the Congress answer me…”
