It will be a verdict on Kashmir, Ladakh issues: NC chief

Srinagar, May 6:

National Conference President Farooq Abdullah has asked people to remain vigilant on the day of voting and keep eyes and minds open.

“We are fighting a big battle, and we can only win if we keep our eyes and minds open,” Farooq said while campaigning for his party’s candidate for Srinagar Parliamentary seat, Aga Syed Ruhullah Mehdi, in the Wanbal area of Srinagar on Sunday.

He asked people to ensure that after casting the vote, they must check the connected VVPat machine to recheck their vote. Farooq asked people to remain vigilant on the day of voting. Asserting that the National Conference has been the party of the common people of Jammu and Kashmir.

He said that people of Jammu, Kashmir, and Ladakh have rejected the unconstitutional and undemocratic decisions of August 5, 2019.

“On June 4, when the results of parliamentary polls will be declared, the whole world will get a message that these decisions are unacceptable to all of us,” the NC President said.
