Kakinada Innovation Fair stresses on research

The JNTUK Vice chancellor advised students to concentrate on research and innovative projects that benefit society.

Addressing after inaugurating the two-day ‘Innovation Fair’ organised by the JNTUK Design Innovation Centre in cooperation with the National Initiative for Design Innovation here, he complimented the students for displaying their creative talents in the form of modern implements useful for society and the farmers.

The vice chancellor further advised the students to concentrate on artificial intelligence-based initiatives.

Adi Kavi Nannaya University Vice Chancellor Prof. K Padmaraju, who was the guest of honour, said that students should evince more interest in research by participating in innovation fairs of this sort.

Design Innovation Centre Director Prof. A. Gopalakrishna said that students from all over the state had displayed more than 200 exhibits at the fair.

He said cash awards would be presented for the best exhibits.
