The shooting for the upcoming production of Cinemakaaran Producer S. Vinoth Kumar, tentatively titled as ‘Production No: 2’, has recently concluded. Directed by Rajeshwar Kalisamy, the film stars Manikandan of ‘Good Night’ fame in the lead role. The star-cast also includes Saannve Megghana, Guru Somasundaram, director R. Sundarajan, Prasanna Balachandran, Kanakamma from the famous movie “Jaya Jaya Jaya Hay,” Jensen, and many others.
Director Rajeshwar Kalisamy sheds light on the film, stating that it revolves around the challenges faced by an ordinary middle-class boy in his quest for identity and the well-being of his family. This movie is a family comedy drama that was started in December 2023 and completed in March 2024. The filming took place over 65 days in two schedules, with various locations in Coimbatore, such as the Ukkadam market and Gandhipuram bus stand, serving as the backdrop.
