Patna , Dec 8:

JD(U) MP Sunil Kumar Pintu on Thursday differed with the party line and appreciated Union Home Minister Amit Shah for his statement in Lok Sabha that first Prime Minister Pandit Jawaharlal had made a blunder in taking certain decisions on Jammu and Kashmir at a crucial stage after Independence.

Pintu said that Shah had rightly dubbed as blunder certain decisions of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru on Jammu and Kashmir which resulted in the cropping up of Pakistan-occupied Kashmir(PoK).

While JD(U) did not approve the stand of Shah on Nehru about his decision on Jammu and Kashmir, Pintu appreciated the Union Home Minister on the issue, he added.

Statement of Pintu sparked speculations over his next move. It is expected that Pintu may cross the fence to join the BJP before the Lok Sabha elections.
