No ticket worries Union Minister

Belagavi, Mar 10:

Union Minister and BJP leader Shobha Karandlaje on Saturday alleged that some of the party members were opposing her Lok Sabha election candidacy from her constituency.

“You all know there is an opposition for my Lok Sabha candidacy. When there is opposition, then information is collected. In my party, if there is an opposition, it has benefited me, because the truth comes out whether I have worked or not, or done something which was not supposed to be done,” she told reporters here.

“Therefore I have faith in the party’s central leadership that they would recognise my work … In some instances, it may not happen because of the caste calculations …,” Shobha claimed.

Nevertheless, Shobha said she has full faith in the party’s leadership at the centre and is sure to get tickets based on work.

Asked about some sitting MPs not being given tickets, Shobha said she does not have any information about it, but said it is natural for party workers to seek party tickets as a reward for their work.
