The upcoming film of Ashok Selvan and Vasanth Ravi, ‘Pon Ondru Kanden’, recently made headlines as
the producers announced a direct OTT release without informing the cast and crew. However, the
internal issues have now been resolved, and it has been confirmed that ‘Pon Ondru Kanden’ will be
premiered directly on OTT and TV.
The movie’s director, Priya V, shared the official teaser and confirmed that ‘Pon Ondru Kanden’ is set for
a digital premiere on Jio Cinema and Colors Tamil channel on April 14th (Tamil New Year). Touted to be a
triangular love story, the star cast comprises Ashok Selvan, Vasanth Ravi, Aishwarya Lekshmi and many
others with music by Yuvan Shankar Raja.
Ashok Selvan plays a doctor while Aishwarya Lekshmi plays a chef in this romantic entertainer. It has
been certified U/A by the CBFC. ‘Pon Ondru Kanden’ has cinematography by AT Bhagath and editing by
Sathish Suriya. The film’s teaser is doing rounds on the internet. Fans are excited for this movie.
