The partnership between Pragathi Gowda and Sidvin, a prominent Oil and Gas Engineering services company, marks a significant step forward in the career of the talented rallyist from Bengaluru.
This multi-year development deal is poised to elevate Pragathi’s presence in both the Asian and European Rally Championships.
Pragathi, at just 26 years old, boasts an impressive track record, including titles such as the Junior Indian National Rally 2022 champion and winner of the Asia-Pacific Rally Star Cup in 2022. Moreover, she was named the reserve driver for FIA Rally Star for JWRC in 2023, showcasing her immense potential in the sport.
Expressing her excitement about the partnership, Pragathi emphasised her enthusiasm for joining forces with Sidvin, highlighting the support and passion within the team as inspirational. She expressed confidence in achieving great success both on and off the track with Sidvin’s backing.
“I am honoured to be a part of the contract. Teaming up with Sidvin feels like a natural fit, and I am confident that together, we will achieve great things on and off the track,” she said.
Co-driver Trisha Alonkar echoed Pragathi’s sentiments, expressing gratitude for the opportunity presented by Sidvin and emphasizing the significant milestone this partnership represents in their rallying careers.
