Chennai, Mar 25:
Greater Chennai Corporation has asked the public to download the Election Commission of India’s cVIGIL mobile application to report any violations of the model code of conduct during elections.
The app uses GIS to identify the location. After submitting the complaint, a unique identification number is generated for the complainants to follow up on the status of their grievances. Within 100 minutes of submitting complaints, the status will be reflected on the app.
The app is available on both, playstore and appstore.
