SRM Institute of Science and Technology – among India’s biggest and pre-eminent destination for higher education across disciplines will be admitting athletes who have excelled at State, National, and International events for the academic year 2024-2025.
The trials for the various sports and games, track and field, and indoor sports will be held from April 4 onwards.
SRMIST provides wholesome education to India’s talented young women and men and as part of this endeavour, encourages students who excel in sports. Some of its current and former students have brought laurels to India by representing the country and securing medals in many international events.
The schedule of Sports Quota Selection Trials for students seeking admission in Engineering, Management, Science and Humanities, Hotel Management and Law is as follows:
04th April : Chess (Men & Women), Badminton (M&W), Volleyball (W)
05th April : Cricket (M), Football (M), Table Tennis (M&W)
06th April : Athletics (M&W), Weightlifting (M&W), Ball Badminton (M)
07th April :Basketball (M), Volleyball (M)
08th April :Basketball (W), Tennis(M&W)
09th April :Kabaddi(M), Hockey (M&W), Swimming (M&W)
10th April :Archery (M), Ball Badminton (W)
Young athletes who have represented Tamil Nadu and India can take part in the selection trials along with their certificates, and testimonials.
