Welfare aid marks Raindropss social harmony Iftar party

Rainbows are made of small raindrops. Happy lives are made from acts of kindness. The inspiring words of Indian author and spiritual master Amit Ray holds water in the context of the ‘Social Harmony Iftar’ hosted by Chennai based Raindropss Charity Foundation yesterday in Nungambakkam as the event witnessed not just breaking of fast, but also distribution of welfare aids including education assistance to students from poor family background.

It may be noted that Raindropss has been making it a point to conduct an Iftar party every year inviting leading luminaries drawn from different spheres thereby sending a strong message of Universal Brotherhood and Togetherness. Moreover, the foundation has been bringing smiles to the faces of underprivileged children for the first time flying experience besides taking differently-abled, transgenders, poor students on a tour on Vande Bharat train.

This time during the Iftar party, Raindropss charity foundation with Neotech Medical Systems gave away Rs 16 lakh worth neonatal medical equipment as part of World Health Day to Royapuram ICH Government Hospital, RSRM Lying-in Chennai Hospital, Royapuram, Christian Hospital, Bissam Cuttack for the newborns under the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) project in the presence of Director of Public Health and Preventive Medicine Dr T S Selvavinayagam and other dignitaries.
