Dhruv Vikram and acclaimed director Mari Selvaraj are coming together for a sports drama. The film is
said to be a biography of the Kabaddi player, Manathi Ganesan. This much-awaited project was officially
announced by the producers.
For this movie, Pa Ranjith’s Neelam Studios is joining hands with Applause Entertainment which made
blockbusters like ‘Scam 1992’ and ‘Por Thozhil’. They unveiled that actress Anupama Parameshwaran
will be the leading lady of this film. Sources tell us that the shooting for this flick will commence by the
end of this month.
Dhruv Vikram had undergone intense Kabaddi training for this untitled venture. The filming is likely to
happen in South Tamil Nadu, including Tirunelveli. The makers shared a picture today in which Dhruv,
Mari, Anupama, Ranjith and Applause Entertainment heads posed together. This is now going viral on
social media.
