Launching an all-out attack on Congress, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday said that the grand-old party’s “hidden agenda” is to “rob” one of their quotas and “give it to Muslims”.
Speaking at an election rally in Nandurbar in Maharashtra, the prime minister said that the Congress is spreading lies in reservation and Constitution.

He further asserted that “as long as he is alive”, he will not let reservations of Dalits, adivasis, OBCs be given to Muslims on the basis of religion, adding that providing quota benefits on basis of religion is against the very values and principles enshrined in our Constitution.
Attacking the Siddaramaiah-led Congress government in Karnataka, the PM said that it included all Muslims in OBC category overnight and gave them reservation.
He said that Congress never bothered about the welfare of Adivasis.
