Director Lokesh Kanagaraj’s collaboration with Superstar Rajinikanth for ‘Thalaivar 171’ is set to be the
next big thing in Tamil cinema. The pre-production work for this project is underway. Loki had already
confirmed that this film is not a part of LCU and the shooting commences in April. Today, he treated the
fans with a riveting update of ‘Thalaivar 171’.
Sun Pictures unveiled a first look at Superstar Rajinikanth in ‘Thalaivar 171’. The poster shows Thalaivar
in an uber-cool avatar. He had several gold-coloured watches on his hands like handcuffs with gold-
rimmed glasses. The title of ‘Thalaivar 171’ will be announced in a title reveal teaser on April 22nd. The
film has music by Anirudh and stunts by Anbariv.
The poster was in monochrome theme expect for the gold colours. Also, the title font was in gold and red.
The story of Thalaivar 171 might be revolving around gold. Lokesh has already said that this film is not
about drugs and this will be an experimental one. Raghava Lawrence is said to play the villain. We have
to wait for an official confirmantion regarding this.
