RSP backs BJP’s Grand Alliance in Maharastra

Mumbai, Mar 25:

Rashtriya Samaj Party (RSP) chief Mahadev Jankar has said his party will be a constituent of Maharashtra’s ruling Grand Alliance (Mahayuti).

Jankar’s announcement followed his meeting with state Chief Minister Eknath Shinde (Shiv Sena) and his deputies Devendra Fadnavis (BJP) and Ajit Pawar (NCP).

Jankar belongs to the Dhangar (shepherd) community.

A joint statement was later issued that said the country is taking huge strides under PM Modi in development and hence Jankar will continue to be with the Mahayuti.
